Yes, indeed, our Mytik Diam cork is on the billing to star in the new film by director Nicolas Vanier, who has made some wonderful films such as The last trappeur, Wolf, Belle and Sébastien, Spread your wings, and School of life, to name but a few.
For his brand-new film named Champagne!, Nicolas Varnier has chosen to showcase the Champagne vineyards, the work of the grape growers, with the backdrop of a story highlighting the trials and tribulations of friendship.

During the film shooting in Spring 2021, our Marketing teams visited the set to interview the crew including the producer, writer, executive producer, hair stylist, decorator, and actors.

We were also delighted to have the chance to invite a handful of VIP clients to the film set for two days. They could experience what happens behind the camera, which they loved, as well as having a chance to chat face to face with people directly involved in making the film.
Several months later and ahead of the cinema release of Champagne! on 8th June 2022, the film was premiered in several towns and cities across France attended by the film cast and crew. This tour began on 20th April with the first premiere being organised at Epernay cinema before heading off for several weeks to other regions of France. Our sales teams made the most of this to invite small groups of clients to enjoy a unique and fun event by their side.
For our clients in the Champagne region, a VIP premiere was organised with close to 250 people at Epernay Cinema in May. This was a perfect occasion to enjoy a light-hearted moment with our clients and to take advantage of the presence of director Nicolas Vanier to introduce the film and answer their questions around a stunning cocktail event, of course accompanied by Champagnes bottled with Mytik Diam corks.
For latecomers who still didn’t manage to see the film, in mid-July we also organised a private screening for our clients in Alsace at Le trèfle Cinema in Molsheim. Around fifty people attended for a screening which was, of course, followed by a wonderful tasting of bottles corked by Diam.
